The process

01

let’s chat

If you would love to make some magic together, fill out my invitation/on the day enquiry form here. Make sure you include as much info as you can as well as any inspiration photos! I will get back to you with a rough quote. If you are happy to go ahead, a 50% deposit invoice will be sent to lock everything and get going.

02

Custom design

And the fun begins! I will work closely with you to gauge your style and stationery dreams to create a truly bespoke stationery suite. You will receive a digital mockup of your stationery were you can make as many changes as you like to make sure it’s perfect before we send to print.

03

Once you are 100% happy with your suite, we will get printing! I will also send over your final 50% payment invoice. Timeframes are dependant on the printing processes involved in your bespoke suite e.g. digital printing is around 5-6 business days and letterpress/foiling around 14 business days. These timeframes don’t include the design process.

04

The final step

My favourite part! Your invitations suites arrive to you fully assembled and in their envelopes so all you need to do is seal and post them out because lets be real, you don’t want to be spending hours putting together your invitations - leave that to my OCD-self! Everything will be carefully checked and packed, and posted to you or you can pick up if you are in Brisbane.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you offer custom or template designs?

Everything I create is fully bespoke to my couples, no template or cookie-cutter designs here! I work with my couples to design and bring to life a truly modern, unique and special invitation suite and signage to complement them. All invitation suites are assembled and put into your envelopes, so all you need to do is seal and post out to your guests.

Can I order samples?

Definitely can! Let me know if there is something you are specifically looking for and I can post a few samples to you.

When should I send my invitations?

As a rough guide, I recommend sending out your save the dates 9-12 months out from your wedding (especially if it’s a destination wedding that your guests need to book accommodation). For your invitation suite, 3-6months prior.

How long does the invitation design process take?

As I’m there with you from start to finish, the whole process can take around 6 weeks, for design, printing, assembling and posting to you. This is also dependable if you are having any foiling/letterpress on your suite. Save the dates around 3 weeks turnaround and signage/on the day 2 weeks.

Is it just you?

Sure is! You will be chatting to me (Laura) throughout the whole process. I assemble each one of your invitation suites, triple check your place card order and package up your signage. I also have my lovely mum help me out and you might see her friendly face at wedding set ups and drop offs.

How many invitations should I order?

I always suggest ordering at least 5-10 extra invitations, for last minute guests/keepsakes. It’s a lot more in cost to reprint a small amount of invitations compared to your full order.

Do you supply proofs before printing?

Sure do - I supply a digital proof for all save the dates/invitation suites/signage. We can go through as many changes as you need before printing. Please note that I try and match on-screen colours to print colours as close as I can but sometimes there might be slight inconsistencies. If you are unsure, you are more than welcome to order a sample of the colour/stock.

What do things cost?

As everything I do is fully bespoke, I don’t have a price list as such. So please get in touch to get a quote with what you are thinking. As a general ball park, my invitation suites range from $12-$18 per suite.

Do you have a minimum order?

Nope! But to keep in mind, the smaller amount of stationery you need, will be a similar cost to order 60+ invitations as the set up and design cost are the same no matter how many invitations you order.

Do you create stationery for Australia couples only?

I create beautiful stationery for couples all over the world! My large scale signage unfortunately I haven’t found a delivery supplier who can post overseas for a reasonable cost.

What is turnaround time for signage?

Especially with the c-word, I know how much things can change so close to your wedding. I like to have a month for design and printing, and pending where you are location, to consider postage to you.

What types of signage do you offer?

Everything and anything! Welcome signs, seating plans, place cards, menus, bar menus, wishing well signs, directional signs, beer ping pong table signs - anything you want!
